5-Minute Arts Academy ("we", "our", "us") operates the 5-Minute Arts Academy website and mobile app (the "Service"), which lets parents and students order handwriting courses, track delivery status, and track referral rewards. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

• Name, phone number, and delivery address — collected when you place an order, so we can deliver your course materials and contact you about your order.
• Order and payment status — course purchased, price, delivery status, and courier tracking ID.
• Referral information — if you join our referral/competition program, we track your referral code and the orders it generates.

How We Use Your Information

• To process and deliver your order
• To contact you about your order status via phone call or WhatsApp
• To calculate and pay referral commissions
• To show you your own order/delivery/referral status when you log in with your phone number

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

• Supabase — secure database hosting for order and account data
• Steadfast Courier — parcel delivery; we share your name, phone, and address with them solely to deliver your order
• WhatsApp — used to contact you about your order if you reach out or if we need to confirm delivery details
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel & Conversions API — used to measure the performance of our ads and understand which visits lead to an order. See "Advertising & Analytics Cookies" below for details.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Advertising & Analytics Cookies

When you visit our Service through a Facebook or Instagram ad, or interact with our pages, we may use the Meta Pixel (in your browser) and Meta's Conversions API (from our server) to measure ad performance. This involves:

• Recording page views and order events (e.g., when an order is placed) so we can measure which ads led to a sale.
• Sending Meta a securely hashed version of information such as your phone number, so an order can be matched to the ad that led to it — Meta does not receive your phone number or name in plain, readable form.
• Using standard browser cookies (such as _fbp/_fbc) set by Meta's Pixel for this same measurement purpose.

This data is used solely to measure and improve our own ad campaigns — we do not use it to sell your information, and Meta's use of this data is governed by their own Privacy Policy. You can control ad cookies through your browser settings or Meta's ad preferences.

Data Retention

We retain your order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle referral payouts, and comply with our own business record-keeping. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact below).

Your Rights

You can request to view, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us using the email below.

Children's Privacy

Our courses are often ordered by parents on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children; all account and order information is provided by the parent or guardian placing the order.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
